Learn to surf
New to surfing? We can arrange surf lessons with our friends at Avellanas Surf School with instructors who have been surfing this area for decades! Lessons are 90 minutes, for all levels, and take place at Playa Avellanas, just 1 km away.
Surfboards and boogie boards rental
Drift Away Lodge offers surfboards and boogie boards rental to all our guests. Boogie boarding at the beach is fun for the entire family! Or grab a surfboard and head to some of the best surfing beaches in Costa Rica! We also offer beach umbrellas and beach towels.
